Conversations across time, place, and culture” is the theme of the 2019 meeting of the Canadian Historical Association at the University of British Columbia, June 3-5, 2019.
The CCLH/CCHT is seeking to sponsor panels at this meeting that will provoke conversations about the diverse experiences of the Canadian working class. Panels that will spur the ongoing conversation about the relationship between settler colonialism and capitalism in Canadian history would be encouraged. A conversation reflecting upon the Canadian labour revolt on the occasion of the centenary of the Winnipeg General Strike would also be timely.
These are suggestions only and the CCLH/CCHT welcomes panel submissions on any period or theme in labour and working-class history. Panel proposals should be formatted as described in the CHA's call for papers.
Please send proposals and inquiries to Kirk Niergarth, email@example.com, by 8 October, 2018.
